Ougenweide is a German progressive rock and medieval folk rock band from Hamburg that was founded in 1970. They are often considered the most influential artist of the medieval folk rock genre. They achieved mainstream success in the early 1970s with their most successful album, All die weil ich mag, which yielded the band's first hit singles including "Der Fuchs und der Rabe", "Der Rivale", "Der Rattenfaenger", "Fuer Irene", "Merseburger Zauberspr. u. Tanz" and "Ich spring an disem ringe". Working on this album, they collaborated with various German metal and rock bands.
