Luciano Pavarotti was a worldwide known Italian operatic tenor born on October 12, 1935 in Modena, Italy and died on September 6, 2007 in Modena as well. After his death he remains one of the most popular tenors in the world. He reached the international fame to 1977 and since that time he supported his high status. He performed at different famous venues like Metropolitan Opera in New York and opera houses in such cities like London, Vienna, Barcelona, Budapest and others. He is one of the most commercially successful tenors of all time. He widened his audience appearing on TV and teaming up with two other famous tenors Placido Domingo and Jose Carreras. They were known as “three tenors”. During his life, he received many awards and honors including Cavaliere di Gran Croce OMRI.
