American country rock and alternative rock singer-songwriter Shawn Eric Mullins was born on March 8, 1968 in Atlanta, Georgia, the United States. He began his career creating a trio called "Shawn Eric Mullins with Twice Removed". The trio reached only the local popularity and its members decided to part ways. Mullins began trying himself as a solo artist with different lineups. His main influences are James Taylor and Kris Kristofferson, while his early works were influenced by Indigo Girls, and Violent Femmes. During his career, he has released quite a number of albums. The debut album Everchanging World was released in 1991. The last album Honeydew came out in 2008. His breakthrough to the mainstream success happened in 1998 with his album Soul’s Core.
