American pop rock band the Pink Spiders was formed in Nashville, Tennessee, the United States in 2003. The band was formed by Matt Friction (guitar and vocals), Jon Decious (bass), and Bob Ferrari (drums). The current line-up consists of Matt Friction - Guitar/Vocals, Nathan Hansen - Bass and Nick Slack - Drums, Keyboard, Percussion and Vocals. The band’s music was heavily influenced by such famous acts like the Beatles, The Ramones, David Bowie, Elvis Costello, Cheap Trick and many others. The band achieved the mainstream success after they had signed to Geffen Records. Their single "Little Razorblade" was a hit on MTV. They also took part in a contest for their first possible television appearance but lost to 30 Seconds to Mars. Their major label debut is the album Teenage Graffiti.
