English supergroup Humble Pie was founded in Essex, England in 1968. The original band’s line-up composed of Steve Marriott (Small Faces), Peter Frampton (the Herd), Greg Ridley (Spooky Tooth), and Jerry Shirley. The band emerged on the music scene at the end of the 1960s with their debut album As Safe As Yesterday Is. The album was one of the first to be described with the term “heavy metal” by the Rolling Stone. The album was supported by a hit single "Natural Born Bugie" that reached number 4 on the UK singles chart. You can download this album by Humble Pie in mp3 from our site. The band was also popular in the United States. Their album Smokin’ (1972) reached number 6 on the Billboard 200. The band broke up for many times and reformed but with another line-up. The band disbanded for the last time in 2003.
