Hector el Father, birth name Héctor Delgado Román was born on September 4, 1979 in Carolina, Puerto Rico. He is a Puerto Rican reggaeton artist. Hector began his music career in 1996 joining Tito "El Bambino". Together they formed a reggaeton duo and performed under the name “Los Bambinos”. During their common career, they released six albums and split in 2005. The duo has become the first among reggaeton artists to have a sell out massive concert. After the break-up, both of the artists embarked on solo careers. Hector el Father has released six albums including one live album. He is going to finish his music career in 2010 and to play his last gig in May 2010. After this, his plans are uncertain. According to Hector, there’s a possibility that he will be a pastor.
