English indie band The Go! Team comes from Brighton, England. The band was created by Ian Parton. He is the creative force of the band. The debut band’s album Thunder, Lightning, Strike was recorded in the kitchen of Parton’s parents. He wanted to create music that would combine loud guitars in style of Sonic Youth, double dutch chants, and car chase horn music. The debut album was released in 2004. Ian Parton was noticed and he had to recruit the full size band in order to open for Franz Ferdinand. The album was nominated for Mercury Prize. You can download this album in mp3 from our site.
