Biography

Nikki Sixx (birth name Frank Carlton Serafino Feranna, Jr.) is an American hard rock, heavy metal and glam metal singer, songwriter and musician. He was born on December 11, 1958, in San Jose, California, U.S. He quickly gained popularity as a member and main songwriter of the popular American hard rock and heavy metal music act Mötley Crüe that achieved mainstream success with the hit singles such as "Wild Side", "Girls, Girls, Girls", "You're All I Need" and "Jailhouse Rock" among others. This band also includes Mick Mars, Vince Neil and Tommy Lee. He is also well known for his relationships with different experimental bands such as London, 58, Brides of Destruction and Sixx: A.M.. In early 2006, he decided to began his solo music career. As a result of such decision, he released The Heroin Diaries, in 2007. This album spawned several singles such as "Life_Is_Beautiful", "Pray_For_Me", "Tomorrow", "Accidents_Can_Happen" and "Intermission".
