Necro, birth name Ron Raphael Braunstein, is an American underground rapper, record producer, actor and director. He was born on June 7, 1976 in Brooklyn, New York, the United States. He sais that being a child he robbed and dealt with drugs in order to survive. Necro began his music career at the age of 11 playing guitar in a thrash metal band but during the time he made a transition to rap. He began rhyming in 1988 and rhymed at school lunchroom everyday until he was kicked out of high school for fighting. In rap community he is known for explicit lyrics. He rapped about murders, kidnapping, torture, narcotics and devil worship. Necro defines his style as “death rap” aiming to separate himself from all other labels created by the media.
