Greg Brown was born on July 2 in 1949. He is from Fairfield, Iowa. Greg Brown is a folk singer and songwriter. His career began at the age of 18 as a folksinger get-together in New York City. Together with the band "The Platters" he visited Portland, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. When Greg Brown returned home, he founded his own record label "Red House Records". It was in 1980. Many popular artists including Pat Donohue, Ramblin' Jack Elliott, Eliza Gilkyson, etc. released their albums through his label. Greg Brown released 29 solo albums such as In the Hills of California, Down in the Valley: Barn Aid Benefit Concert, Bathtub Blues, One More Goodnight Kiss, 44 & 66 and many more.
