The Smashing Pumpkins are the alternative American rock band. It was formed in Chicago, Illinois in 1988 and comprised Billy Corgan (vocals/guitar) and James Iha (guitar/backing vocals), D'arcy Wretzky (bass guitar/backing vocals), Jimmy Chamberlin (drums/percussion), and Melissa Auf der Maur (bass guitar).The group rose to fame with their second album Siamese Dream (1993). It became 4 x platinum and you can download it from our site in mp3. The Smashing Pumpkins got many nominations and awards including 2 Grammy Awards for the Best Hard Rock performance. Their most well-known songs are Disarm, 1979, Thirty-Three, Zero, Tonight, Tonight, The End Is the Beginning Is the End. In 2000 the band broke up and in 2006 they announced about their reformation. Though right now only Billy Corgan is left from the original line-up and he still performs under The Smashing Pumpkins name.
