American rock band The Raconteurs was formed in Detroit, Michigan, the United States in 2005. The band comprises the members of many other groups, like Jack White of The White Stripes and The Dead Weather, Jack Lawrence of The Greenhornes, Blanche and The Dead Weather, Patrick Keeler also of The Greenhornes. Brendan Benson is the only solo member of the band. The band refused to use term “supergroup” it applies to something temporary and planned but they are a “new made up band of old friends”. The band is known as The Saboteurs in Australia as “Raconteurs” belongs to the other band. The band has been extensively touring and has already performed at famous festivals in Europe, North America and in Asia.
