Pharoahe Monch was born on 31 October in 1972 in Queens, New York, U.S. He is a popular artist of rap-culture. Troy Donald Jamerson is his birth name. Monch performed with various groups and several artists throughout his career such as Organized Konfusion, Busta Rhymes, Adam F and Shabaam Sahdeeq. Troy released three albums with Prince Poetry. Their last album, The Equinox, was released in 1997. In 1999, Pharoahe Monch issued his first solo album, Internal Affairs, through the label Rawkus Records. In 2007, he released second solo album, Desire. This album is full of great singles: Push, Let's Go and Body Baby. Many singles featured not only in the films, but in the American football video game (Madden NFL 08) too. Troy plans to return to hip-hop of 1993 in his third solo album, which he will release in 2010.
