Redshift is a modern hard rock band from Vancouver, USA. The band was formed by Jonah Saifer (vocals, guitar), Steve Matusak (bass), Tyler Chen (drums, backup vocals) and Gabriel Kniffin (lead guitar). Their genre is a mix of electronic-progressive, new-age and ambient. In 1996, Redshift released their first studio album. Its name is "Redshift". Its track-list includes only 4 songs such as "Spin", "Shine", "Blueshift", etc. In 1996, the band released 3 more albums (Live At Jodrell Bank Cd1, Live At Jodrell Bank Cd2, Unofficial). Redshift was releasing a new album almost every year. In 2002, they once again released 3 albums such as "Halo", "Wild" and "Siren". In total, the band recorded about 14 albums.
