American R&B singer-songwriter Ledisi, birth name Ledisi Anibade Young comes from New Orleans, Louisiana, the United States. She covers also such genres as jazz, gospel, soul and neo soul. During her career she released five studio albums. She rose to the national fame with her third album Lost & Found. The lead single “Alright” debuted at number 45 on the Billboard Hot R&B chart. The second single single “In the Morning” debuted at #49. Thanks to the album she received a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist and next year brought another Grammy nomination for the album “Best R&B album”.
