The Germs are an American punk and hardcore punk band that was founded in 1977 by Darby Crash, guitarist Pat Smear and bassist Lorna Doom, and the band's current line-up consists of Darby Crash (vocals), Pat Smear (guitar), Lorna Doom (bass) and Don Bolles (drums). They achieved their break in 1981 with their most successful album, Live At The Whisky, First Show Ever, which produced the band's popular singles including "Victim", "Street Dreams", "Let's Pretend", "Get A Grip" and "Suicide Machine".
