English punk rock band 999 comes from London. It was founded in 1977 by Nick Cash and Guy Days. Together they recruited the rest band members through the advertisement in the paper. The original line-up consisted of Nick Cash – vocals and guitar, Guy Days – guitar and vocals, Jon Watson – bass and Pablo LaBritain – drums. The band took the name after the emergency telephone number in Britain. The band is often called to be one of the first punk rock bands. They overcame several break-ups but despite these troubles, they are still performing. The highest band’s achievement in the UK charts was single “Homicide” which reached number 40. Some of the albums charted on the Billboard 200 because the band toured extensively in the United States. They have released quite a number of singles.
