Swedish melodic death metal band Dark Tranqility comes from Gothenburg, Sweden. The band is one of the long-lived bands emerging from the Gothenburg metal scene as they were founded in 1989. The band’s founding members are vocalist and guitarist Mikael Stanne and guitarist Niklas Sundin. The first leading vocalist of the band was Anders Friden who left the band and joined In Flames. The current lead vocalist is Mikael Stanne. The band members are Mikael Stanne – vocals, Niklas Sundin – guitar, graphic design, Martin Henriksson - guitar, sound recording, Anders Jivarp - drums, Martin Brändström - electronics, piano and Daniel Antonsson - bass guitar. The debut band’s album is Skydancer. It has vocals of Anders Friden. The last band’s album is We are Void. The album was well received by the fans.
