Baby Boy Da Prince, birth name Lawrence Cennett is an American rapper from New Orleans, Louisiana, the United States. He began his career at the age of 16. Real breakthrough to the mainstream success happened in 2006 when his debut single “The Way I Live” got an airplay on the radio Q93 (WQUE). He was noticed by the record company Universal Republic and was quickly signed. The debut album Across the Water was released next year and debuted at number 26 on the Billboard 200. The album sold 26,000 copies after the first week. It also spawned one more single “Naw Meen” (featuring Mannie Frech). Some other works by Baby Boy Da Prince include such singles like "It's My Time (featuring lil Wayne), "Damela" (featuring Cassidy), "Girl C'Mon" (featuring The Dream) and "Show You How I Do" (featuring Lil Wayne).
