American indie and folk singer-songwriter Adam Green comes from Mount Kisco, New York, the United States. Green began his music career as a part of the duo The Moldy Peaches. The other member was Kamya Dawson. Eventually, the duo went on hiatus and Dawson and Green embarked on solo careers. Green released his last album Minor Love in 2010. The album was praised by the critics especially by the Allmusic, Drowned in Sound, Clash. The album reached number 48 on the German Albums chart. He is popular especially in Germany where it’s pointed out that his great-grandmother was engaged to famous German language writer Franz Kafka.
