Brazilian pop rock singer, songwriter and actor Roberto Carlos, birth name Roberto Carlos Braga was born on April 19, 1941 in Cachoeiro do Itapemirim, Espírito Santo, Brazil. He was very influenced by his icon Elvis Presley emerged the Brazilian pop rock scene in 1960s participating in the movement titled “Jovem Guarda” (Young Guard).
