Skillet is an American Christian rock and post-grunge band that formed in 1996 by John Cooper, former vocalist for Tennessee progressive rock band Seraph, and Ken Steorts, former guitarist for Urgent Cry, and currently comprises John Cooper (lead vocalist, bassist), his wife Korey Cooper (guitarist, keyboardist, vocalist), Ben Kasica (guitarist) and Jen Ledger (drummer). In 1996, they signed with a major Christian record label ForeFront Records. After that, they released their self-titled debut album (1996). In 2006, the band released one of its most successful albums, Comatose, received a Grammy Award nomination for Best Rock or Rap Gospel Album. This album also spawned several singles such as "Whispers in the Dark", "Looking for Angels", "The Older I Get" and "Rebirthing". And now, you may download this album by Skillet in mp3 from our site.
