John Mayer Trio are an American blues-rock, pop rock and blues band that was founded in 2005. The group's current line-up consists of John Mayer (lead vocals, guitar), Pino Palladino (bass) and Steve Jordan (drums, backing vocals). They quickly gained popularity in 2005 with their breakthrough debut album, Try!, which spawned the hit singles such as "I Got a Woman", "Something's Missing", "Daughters", "Who Did You Think I Was", "Wait Until Tomorrow" and "Gravity". This album received generally positive critical acclaim. To support this release they went on tour throughout the US. As a result, they released their following record called Try!
