James Morrison Catchpole (known as James Morrison) is a BRIT awarded English singer and songwriter. He was born on 13 August 1984 in Rugby, Warwickshire, UK. He reached the popularity worldwide with his hit single You Give Me Something which topped the charts in Europe, Japan, and in Australia. After that the debut album Undiscovered was released and headed the UK album chart. His second single Wonderful World was also in the charts. The second album Songs for You, Truths for Me broke the charts with You Make it Real single and with Broken Strings which was made in collaboration with Nelly Furtado.
