Biography

Panic! at the Disco is an American pop punk and alternative rock band that was formed in 2004 by Ryan Ross on the guitar and Spencer Smith on the drums, and currently comprises Brendon Urie (vocals) and Spencer Smith (drums). They lifted the name from the lyrics of a song called "Panic" by Name Taken. They achieved mainstream success in 2005 with their first album, A Fever You Can't Sweat Out, which went Platinum. The album spawned several singles such as "The Only Difference Between Martyrdom and Suicide Is Press Coverage", "I Write Sins Not Tragedies", "But It's Better If You Do", "Lying Is the Most Fun a Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off" and "Build God, Then We'll Talk".
