Trick Daddy (birth name Maurice Young) is an American rapper. He was born on September 23, 1973, Miami, Florida, USA. He is also well known by his stage names such as Trick Daddy Dollars and T-Double-D. He became famous for his club hits such as "Shut Up" and "Let's Go". He released his first album, Based on a True Story, in 1997. In 1998, he released his second album, www.thug.com, which managed to peak at number thirty on the Billboard 200. His following album, Thugs Are Us, was released in 2000 and produced a hit single, "I'm a Thug", which reached number 17 on the Billboard Hot 100. His fifth album, Thug Holiday, produced several singles such as "Rock & Roll Nigga" (Feat. Money Mark), "Rags to Riches" (Feat. Tre+6), "Bout Mine" (Feat. Money Mark, Rick Ross, Deuce Poppi & Mystic) and "Ain't No Santa". The album's lead singles, "In da Wind", became one of his most commercially-successful singles.
