American country and rock singer-songwriter Michelle Branch (full name Michelle Jacquet DeSevren Branch) was born on July 2, 1983 in Sedona, Arizona, the United States. She rose to fame in 2001 releasing her breakthrough album The Spirit Room, which yielded hit singles Everywhere, All You Wanted and Goodbye to You. Next yeah she received a Grammy Award for the great collaboration with Santana on the track The Game of Love, which featured the album Shaman. The single reached the top spot of the US Acoustic chart, and was a top 5 hit on R & R pop. The song became prominent in the UK and in Australia too. She filmed in five movies including Rob Schneider’s The Hot Chick. Branch plays guitar, piano, drums and mandolin. She states that she has been influenced by The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Queen, Aerosmith and others.
