American Christian rock and Contemporary Christian Music band MercyMe comes from Greenville, Texas, the United States and it was formed in 1994. The band’s lien-up currently consists of Bart Millard (vocals), Nathan Cochran (bass), Michael John Scheuchzer (guitar), Robin Shaffer (percussion), James Bryson (keyboards) and Barry Graul (guitar). During its career, the band has released 12 albums and 6 of them are independent. Their label debut Almost There was released in 2001 on INO Records. This album quickly made the group popular among the Christian audience and even earned them some success among the mainstream one. The hit single “I Can Only Imagine” reached the top spot of the Hot Christian Songs and it is the only band’s single to chart on the Billboard (#71).
