He was a popular singer during the 1950s-1960s in the U.S. and reached the fame as an actor, writer, spokesman and motivation speaker. Boone is famous for many pop hits and covers of R&B songs that influenced even rock and roll. Elis Presley was his opening act during his tours in the 1950s.
