British Britpop band Ocean Colour Scene (or OCS) was formed in Birmingham, England, the UK. The band was founded on the ashes of two local bands The Boys and Fanatics. The band’s current members are Simon Fowler – vocals, Steve Cradock – guitar, Oscar Harrison – drums, Dan Sealey – bass and Andy Bennett – guitar. The band recorded demo and caught an attention of Noel Gallagher who invited them to play with Oasis. This supporting performance increased the interest among the record labels and the band finally signed to MCA Records. The band reached the commercial and mainstream success releasing their second album Moseley Shoals. The album reached number 2 on the UK Albums chart. The next album Marchin' Already was even more successful climbing on the top spot of the British chart.
