James Vernon Taylor, a Grammy Awarded musician, singer-songwriter was born on March 12, 1948 in Boston, Massachusetts, the US. His works cover many genres like country, folk, rock, folk-rock, country-folk and soft rock. Taylor began his music career in 1960s but he gained the massive popularity only in 1970 when he released his album Sweet Baby James which is considered to be one of the greatest folk rock albums of all times.
