Enchant is an American neo-progressive rock, symphonic rock and art rock band that was formed in 1989 and currently consists of Doug Ott, Ted Leonard, Bill Jenkins, Ed Platt and Sean Flanegan.The band's origins reach back to the end of the 1980s but the actual launch only comes when Steve Rothery became aware of this new band; he helped produce A Blueprint of the World in England in 1993, and he also joined in as a guest musician. The rights for this debut album had previously secured a small German label. In the same year the first tour on Europe followed. A Blueprint of the World yielded several singles such as "The Thirst", "Catharsis" , "Oasis", "Acquaintance", "Mae Dae" and "At Death's Door".
