Don Henley, birth name Donald Hugh Henley is an American rock singer, musician and songwriter born on July 22, 1947 in Gilmer, Texas, the United States. He is known primary as the founding member of the icon band The Eagles and for his Grammy-winning solo career. He began a professional music career in 1970 and The Eagles were formed in 1971. Henley co-wrote such band’s hits (collaborating with Glenn Frey), like Desperado and Hotel California. He also was a lead vocalist on such tracks like "Desperado," "The Best of My Love," "One of These Nights," "Hotel California” and on some others. The band broke up in 1980 and Henley pursued a solo career. He has released four solo albums and the most successful one is The End of the Innocence. It was certified 6 x Multi-Platinum by RIAA.
