American punk band Dead Kennedys was formed in San Francisco, California, the United States in 1978. The band finally split in 2008 and during all that time the line-up was changing for several times. The original band members were Jello Biafra (Eric Reed Boucher) on vocals, East Bay Ray (Raymond Pepperell) on guitar, Klaus Flouride (Geoffrey Lyall) on bass, and 6025 (Carlos Cadona) on drums. Dead Kennedys are famous for their left wing political lyrics. Especially it can be said about the period when the Jello Biafra was band’s member from 1978 to 1986. The band has released four studio albums – Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables, Plastic Surgery Disasters, Frankenchrist and Bedtime for Democracy. Their most popular songs include such tracks like California Uber Alles, Holliday in Cambodia, Kill the Poor, Too Drunk Too Fuck and some others.
