German rapper Bushido, known also as Sonny Black, birth name Anis Mohammed Youssef Ferchichi, born on September 28, 1978 in Berlin, Germany to German mother and Tunisian father. He began his rapping career in 1999 and became a very controversial figure on German music scene. He is accused in being nationalist and racist by some German media, though he denies everything. There were also some rumors about Bushido’s and Bill Kaulitz’s (Tokio Hotel lead singer) homosexual relationship. A legal trouble came from melodic black band Dimmu Borgir which accused his in sampling two of their songs without any permission. At the same time Bushido won two ECHO awards (German music award) in nominations “Best Live Act” and “best hip-hop/rap artist”.
