Canadian indie band Broken Social Scene comes from Toronto, Ontario. The band was founded by Kevin Drew and Brendan Canning in 1999. They recorded and wrote the debut album Feel Good Lost. It was released in 2001. The material was almost instrumental and the twosome felt that it was not enough for entertaining show and decided to complete the band and invited their friends from Toronto indie scene. The current band’s line-up is flexible and may include from 6 till 19 members. Some of them are Justin Peroff, Andrew Whiteman, James Shaw, Amy Millan, Bill Priddle and many others. The band won two Juno Awards for “Alternative Album of the year” for You Forgot It In People and Broken Social Scene. You can download these albums by Broken Social Scene in mp3 from our site.
