Italian rock singer-songwriter Vasco Rossi was born on February 7, 1952 in Zocca, Emilia-Romagna, Italy. His mother took him to the singing school when he was a boy and that influenced on all his future life. The family moved to Bologna, Italy where the boy finished the high school and studied Economics and Commerce. However, he decided to begin music career. At that time he owned a music club and took part in the foundation of one of the first private radio stations in Italy “Punto Radio”. Rossi began his career in the late 1970s and gained the national success with his hit "Albachiara”. The song featured the album Non siamo mica gli americani (We Are Not American People). He continued releasing his albums and gained more and more popularity partly because of his contradictive lyrics, some of his songs are Troia (bith) and Stronza (asshole).
