American rock band Fastball was formed in 1994 in Austin, Texas, the United states. The band was founded by Tony Scalzo, Joey Shuffield, and Miles Zuniga. This line-up still remains in the band’s line-up. The band changed many names before choosing Fastball. During their career they were called Star 69, Magneto, Magneto USA, and Starchy. The debut album Make Your Mama Proud was released in 1996. The album didn’t sell very well but it won Austin Music Awards in the category “Best Pop Band”. By the end of 1998 the band members had side jobs and they weren’t sure about their musical future. But they released their second album All the Pain Money Can Buy, the album which propelled them to the stardom.
