Faith Evans is an American R&B, soul and hip hop soul singer-songwriter, record producer, actress and author. She was born in Lakeland, Florida in June 10, 1973. Her mother, Helene Evans, is a professional singer. At the age of two, she began singing at church. And at age of four, while she was singing The 5th Dimension's song "Let the Sunshine In", she was noticed and praised by the congregation of the Emmanuel Baptist Church. When she was a student, she sang with several jazz bands. She achieve mainstream success in 1998 with her most successful album, Keep the Faith. This album produced her biggest hits including "Love Like This" (number 7 US), "All Night Long" (number 9 US), and "Never Gonna Let You Go" (number 1 US). This album went certified Platinum.
