American country music artist Dierks Bentley was born on November 20, 1975 and comes from Phoenix, Arizona, the United States. Bentley rose to fame in 2003 with a release of his debut album Dierks Bentley. The lead single What I Was Thinking propelled him to the stardom having reached the top spot of the US country chart. In total he has released five studio albums which featured twelve singles on the country singles chart including seven singles number one. Besides the debut hit single, other number one songs are "Come a Little Closer", "Settle for a Slowdown", "Every Mile a Memory", "Free and Easy (Down the Road I Go)", "Feel That Fire" and "Sideways".
