Charles Kent Wilson known as Charlie Wilson is an American R & B/soul singer born on January 29, 1953 in Tulsa, Olkahoma, the US. During his career he was a member of the Gap Band and he’s also a solo performer. Since the time he began his solo career he has released many solo albums and collaborated with various musicians. Some of them are R. Kelly, The Platinum Brothers, Tramp, Kaygee and Snoop Dogg who is a good friend of him. Snoop Dogg is said to give him a nick Uncle Charlie. Charlie Wilson’s collaborative songs are Beautiful (along with Pharrell), Sings (with Justin Timberlake), and a Grammy nominated song Stomp (with Carl Smith, Yo-Yo, Chaka Khan and many others).
