American pop boy group N Sync was formed in Orlando, Florida in 1995 and was launched in Germany. The group consisted of Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick. They have become one of the most popular teen pop groups having sold 1,1 million copies in one day in the US making a record. The band has released their debut self-titled album in 1998. The album became number one in Germany and Canada and number 2 in the US. The most commercially successful their album is their second release titled No Strings Attached. The album hit the top of the Billboard 200 and was certified 11 x Platinum. The hit singles from the album were "Bye Bye Bye", "It's Gonna Be Me" and "This I Promise You".
