A Challenge of Honour is a Dutch folk, industrial and ambient music act that was founded in 2000 by two musicians Johan Könign and Peter Savelkoul. They came to prominence in 2001 with their breakthrough debut album, Only Stones Remain, which produced several singles such as "The Raven", "Dum Pater Familia", "Niebelungen Land" and "The Dragon S Breath". In early 2002, they signed with the UK popular record label, Cold Spring. They achieved mainstream success with their follow-up album, Wilhelm Gustloff, which reached Top 50 in the UK.
