Neue Deutsche Härte and synthrock German band Unheilig (meaning Unholy) was formed in Germany in 1999. The band was founded by Brend Heinrich a.k.a. Der Graf and by Grant Stevens. The current line-up comprises mainly Der Graf who is supported by live musicians Licky (Christoph Termuhlen) – guitar, Henning Verlage – keyboards, programming and Potti – Drums & Percussion. The band quickly gained the popularity among the German public. The debut single “Sage Ja” hit the German charts and the band released their debut album Phosphor. They performed at different festivals around Germany and were welcomes by the fans. During their career, the band has released seven studio albums. The last album Grosse Freiheit was released in 2010 through Vertigo Records (Universal). The album topped the German chart and reached number 2 in Austria.
