Sludge-metal band Acid Bath was active from 1991 till 1997. The band was founded by the members of the two bands - Audie Pitre and Sammy Pierre Duet (Dark Karnival) and Dax Riggs, Tommy Viator, and Mike Sanchez (Golgotha). The band blended doom metal roots with death metal, blues-rock and hardcore elements. At the beginning of their career, they have been influenced by such artists like David Bowie, Alice Cooper, Black Sabbath, Celtic Frost, Carcass and many others. The band released several demos and two studio albums. The first studio album When the Kite String Pops came out in 1994 and the second and last album Paegan Terrorism Tactics was released in 1996. You can download these albums by Acid Bath in mp3 from our site. The band dissolved when Audie Pitre and his parents were killed by drunken driver.
