American glam metal band Winger, formed in New York City, New York, the United States in 1987. The band underwent two breakups and they eventually reformed in 2006. Current line-up consists of Kip Winger - bass guitar, lead vocals, keyboards, acoustic guitar, Reb Beach - lead & rhythm guitars, backing vocals, Rod Morgenstein - drums, percussion, backing vocals, John Roth - rhythm guitar, backing vocal and of Cenk Eroglu - keyboards, rhythm guitar, effects, backing vocals. The peak of the band’s career was during the end of 1980s, beginning of 1990s. At that time the band released two very successful albums, the debut one Winger and the next one In the Heart of the Young. The albums were certified Platinum, while the third album Pull was only Gold. The band is going to release their fifth studio album titled Karma in 2009.
