George Ivan Morrison (known as Van Morrison) is a Northern Irish musician and singer-songwriter born on August 31, 1945 in Belfast, Northern Ireland. He’s fully acclaimed and recognized by the world music society. During his career he got six Grammy Awards and was inducted into Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and into Songwriters Hall of Fame. Some of his albums like Astral Weeks and Moondance are said to be ones of the greatest ever made.
