American Christian rock band Third Day from Marietta, Georgia, the United States was formed in 1991 by Mac Powell, Mark Lee and by Billy Wilkins. The other band members are David Carr and Tai Anderson. The ban’d name refers to the biblican account of Jesus rising from the dead on the third day after his Crucifixion. The band rose to fame after they signed a multi-album deal with Reunion records. They released the official version of their debut album Third Day and went on their headlining tour over 65 cities which ended with a great success.
