English blues-rock and hard-rock band Ten Years After was formed in 1967 in Nottingham, England. The band still plays and tours. The current band members are Leo Lyons – bass, Chick Churchill – keyboards, Ric Lee – drums and Joe Gooch – guitar and vocals. Leo Lyons is the founding member, the other one is Alvin Lee. It was he who made the band popular during the end of the 1960s and the beginning of the 1970s as he was said to be one of the best instrumentalists in his genre. The group has released quite many albums and the peak of their popularity was during the beginning of their career. Eight their albums reached the top 40 on the UK Albums chart, two albums reached number 4. Twelve albums charted on the Billboard 200.
