American alternative and geek rock band Guster was formed in Boston, Massachusetts, the US in 1991. The band founders were attending the same University where they formed the group. Original members are Adam Gardner (lead vocals, guitar, bass, keyboard, banjo, trumpet), Ryan Miller (lead vocals, backing vocals, guitar, bass, piano, banjo, harmonica), and Brian Rosenworcel (drums, percussion). The fourth member multi-instrumentalist Joe Pisapia (backing vocals, guitar, bass, banjo, harmonica, keyboard, lap steel guitar, cow bell, appalachian dulcimer) joined the band in 2003. The band has won Album of the Year at the Boston Music Awards 2006. They collaborated with John Mayer, toured with many acts like Pete Yorn, Tally Hall, Ben Kweller and with others.
